Wankhede Stadium Turns 50: Sugee Group & MCA Host a Night of Cricket and Celebration

Wankhede Stadium has seen World Cup wins, record-breaking innings, and generations of cricket dreams. On January 19, 2025, it turned 50, and the Mumbai Cricket Association celebrated with a golden jubilee event that matched the magnitude of the milestone. Sugee Group was the Title Sponsor, and the ICC Champions Trophy made a special appearance as part of its official tour.  

Mandira Bedi, Prasanna Sant, and Jatin Sapru hosted the evening, which featured spirited performances by Avadhoot Gupte and Ajay-Atul and a dazzling laser show. Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Sunil Gavaskar, and many other legends were present, each sharing what this ground means to them personally.
